「長濱很能夠感受到大地的變化。」要不是貪戀這片景色,台南人楊柏偉(Nick)不會選擇這裡為落腳處。說起跟長濱的緣分也是奇,他當替代役時就在這裡,希望能夠教當地原住民學生習得一技之長,不但說服校長打造專業廚房,訓練國中生去參加全國比賽,甚至開設免費烹飪班教部落媽媽們做菜。退伍後的他,決定往法國闖一闖,先是在普羅旺斯的米其林一星餐廳「La Bonne Etape」工作,後來又被推薦到馬賽的米其林3星餐廳「Le Petit Nice」。因為表現傑出,半年後就被拔擢到處理海鮮的領班,為該餐廳第一位華人領班,主廚甚至請他一起籌備新餐廳。
