美國CBS駐亞洲記者Ramy Inocencio（英若明）於金鐘示威現場工作時，身上沒有帶任何防護裝備，此時旁邊的2名年輕示威者見狀，分別送上雨傘和頭盔，還提醒他要小心，當時英若明用國語和廣東話感謝提供防護工具的示威者。
