NASA時常會在推特上公布一些太空知識及趣事，近日除了公布土星高清影像外，也發布了「來自黑洞」的聲音。
NASA特別說明，外太空大部分是處於真空狀態，沒有辦法聽到任何聲音，之所以能錄下「黑洞的聲音」，是因為英仙座星系團擁有非常大量的氣體，黑洞壓力波經過氣體傳播，再透過NASA轉譯混合其他收集到的數據，最終才製作成人類能聽見的聲音。
音檔公開後立刻吸引46萬名網友按讚，不少人認為這段「詭異又低沉」的聲音讓人不禁毛骨悚然，更想起許多有關太空、異星生物的恐怖電影，像是《普羅米修斯》（Prometheus）、《撕裂地平線》（Event Horizon）或《沉默之丘》（Silent Hill）等。
