中國各地因烏魯木齊一把惡火，抗議行動遍地開花，其中也有不少學生站出來發聲，清華大學有數百名學生出面抗議，高舉寫有一串方程式的白紙。
前香港立法會議員羅冠聰則在推特解釋，上頭的方程式為「弗里德曼方程」，發明該方程式的弗里德曼（friedmann），發音似freeman（自由人），並讚「這是富有創意的表達方式」。
