蔡英文稍早在推特貼出與衛福部長陳時中的合照，上頭寫著：「台灣被排除在WHA外，使重要衛生信息、專業知識及為世界人民健康做出貢獻的機會被剝奪。」接著她寫道：「台灣被WHA排除在外，不僅僅是2,300萬台灣人的損失，也是全世界的損失。」
蔡英文喊話WHO，「為了實踐Health For All，WHO必須放下政治，讓台灣可以分享我們的專業知識，並為全球健康做更多貢獻。」
